Me Mova Lab

Creative Production • Culture • Art • Immersive Experiences

Ideas are meant to move.

Me Mova Lab is an independent creative laboratory creating spaces for people to experience, participate and connect.

Driven by curiosity and experimentation, the Lab brings together art, culture, movement and people to transform ideas into experiences that can be entered, felt and lived — not simply observed.

Rather than creating for an audience, Me Mova is interested in creating with people in mind as part of the experience.

Because sometimes the most meaningful way to connect with an idea is to step inside it.

Why Me Mova?

Me Mova means move me in Portuguese.

And movement can happen in many ways.

A rhythm can move the body.
A story can move the mind.
An artwork can shift a perspective.
A shared experience can move a community.
A moment can simply make us feel something.

Me Mova Lab explores all of these possibilities.

The aim isn't always to tell people what to think or feel, but to create the conditions for something to happen — to spark curiosity, participation, connection and discovery.

Me Mova Lab creates environments where the audience doesn't have to remain an audience.

Depending on the project, you might be invited to move, listen, make, play, learn, question, interact or simply be present.

The form can change.

Music.
Performance.
Culture.
Movement.
Art.
Workshops.
Installations.
Community experiences.

What connects them is the intention to create something that can be experienced from within.

Not just:

“Come and watch.”

But:

“Come in. Experience it.”

Fuá do Nordeste

A Brazilian Cultural Immersion — 2026

Music • Dance • Culture • Participation

Fuá do Nordeste is the first project created and produced through Me Mova Lab.

Presented as part of Darebin FUSE Festival, the project creates an immersive environment inspired by the culture of Northeast Brazil, bringing together live music, dance, movement and participatory cultural experiences.

Rather than presenting culture from a distance, Fuá do Nordeste invites people to step inside it.

To hear the rhythms.
To move their bodies.
To learn.
To participate.
To share the space.

Culture becomes something lived, not simply watched.

A Lab for Possibility

Me Mova Lab is intentionally evolving.

The Lab represents a space for experimentation — where disciplines can meet, ideas can change shape and new ways of experiencing art and culture can emerge.

Some ideas may become events. Others may become performances, installations, workshops, collaborations or forms we haven't discovered yet.

The outcome doesn't always need to be known from the beginning.

Curiosity starts the process. Experience brings it to life.

Come Experience It.

Whether you're an artist, organisation, venue, community or simply someone with an idea worth exploring, Me Mova Lab is open to possibilities.

Let's create something people don't just see —

but experience.
